Lee Harper's debut in childrens book illustrating, WOOLBUR by Leslie Helakoski, (HarperCollins), was released in January 2008. Lee is a Doylestown resident and father of two. Besides illustrating, Lee teaches children about art and making picture books. Lee has taught workshops as an artist in residence for the Council Rock School District for the past five years and has recently added school visits to his resume. Lee is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
