Ann Moore was born in the beautiful Cotswolds of England, raised in the misty Pacific Northwest, Washington State, and spent summers on an island nearby. She is the internationally published author of three historical novels about the Irish Famine of 1845, the political uprising, and the mass emigration to America, and is currently writing a contemporary mystery saga set in the San Juan Islands. Her college-aged son and daughter still come home regularly, providing the hilarity and sparkling conversation necessary to the liberation of good dialogue. Home is Bellingham, Washington, where Ann and her husband live alongside their old pal, Dash.
