'I like to look on the light side of life,' she says. 'All my stories feature fun and adventure, and of course, they all have a happy ending.' She writes part time and teaches English Literature part time at a local college. ' She says that, 'Getting paid to talk about books is the perfect job!'

Whirlwind Marriage (Romance)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:31PM
Description: A sweet Romantic Comedy exploring what happens when the dream meets reality.
Blessing in Disguise (Romance)
3 chapters   —   updated Jul 03, 2011 12:36PM
Description: Unfinished romance - it was rejected by my editor because the situation was 'too risque'. She advised me to try Mills & Boon with it, but they don't like my style so I never finished it. I liked it though. Does anyone else?
The Glass Cliff (Mystery & Thrillers)
3 chapters   —   updated Jun 30, 2011 08:02AM
Description: Unfinished attempt at a horror/thriller type novel. Would love to know what people think about it - I lost confidence when the publisher (Virgin) I aimed at closed their horror line.

This is well researched and clearly written - but the subject of Ian Fleming himself isn't very attractive! The main impression I was left with is what truly awful people used to run this country! Much as I loathe targets & team meetings and all ...more

I liked this less than the first one I read, which comes after this one.

I just find it so impossible that everyone loves Maxwell. This book blub tells us the author was a history teacher, and that explains the perfect portrait, but I just don't find

I see it gets a higher star rating from most people, but I found this a bit dead and a vehicle to carry history rather than a story.

I don't like Ben Fogle on TV, and wondered if I'd like him more in print. Well, not much, but I realised that the secret of his success is that he says what the chap in the pub would say about anything that is put in front of him. I prefer to watch e ...more
