<about>I’ve been writing for a very long time now; much of my writing over that time has had queer characters, which makes sense, because I’m queer as well. It’s only in the last couple years that I’ve been writing romance, though. I find writing romance very relaxing. I never read much romance growing up outside of classic literature, so I had no idea how enjoyable it could be.

You’ll find most of my work published at Torquere Press. I’ve been with them since 2007 and I’m very happy with their principles and their dedication to this genre. I’m also a proof-reader and editor there, mostly short stories. I started out wanting to be a novelist, and I wish I’d taken the time to explore short stories. There didn’t seem to be enough glory in them, though. Now, I know better. The short story allows for so much learning in the course of writing each one. I do love them now, and I love to edit them.</about>

Rase Illion is a middle-aged captain of industry, a restrained man with a spotless reputation just emerging from the shadow of his vicious, driven father. Since his father's death, Rase has been living like the old man was still alive, keeping up appearances with his trophy wife and appropriately luxurious house. Which is when Rase meets Gabriel.
Gabriel loses his temper during his first meeting with Rase and lashes out, which unleashes Rase's carefully hidden submissive and masochistic tendencies. His encounter with Gabriel snaps Rase out of his sleepwalking life, and he sets about remaking his world in his own way. Rase isn't the only one shaken by their encounter, though. Can he convince Gabriel to give their relationship a chance?

Just when Ven and Toby finally have the perfect life, the life Ven never thought he'd have, Toby's ex throws a wrench in the works, but not in the usual way. Brenda needs Toby's help and offers him half of every week with his girls while she takes on some continuing education.

Toby is thrilled, right up until Ven stops coming home from work on time when the girls are there. Ven is struggling with the idea of being a part-time family of four, and not because he doesn't want the girls. Things blow up one night, and only hard work keeps Ven and Toby from pulling their family apart.

The Renovations boys, Toby and Ven are taking a break from their business to celebrate the Christmas season. When Toby's children come to stay with them on the days before Christmas, the boys have to work on building a family instead of just building houses.

It takes more than just fixing up a bedroom and building a playhouse, especially when Josie and Charlotte have to cope with the reality that Daddy really isn't ever coming back home to their house. Will Ven and Toby be able to convince them that this is their family, too?
