The other service like this did concern me because I didn't see how writers would receive a royalty for their work. At least with KU, I will receive my regular royalty. I know there's been a bit of fervor over this, but to be frank, I don't get emotional about these things. KU, like all things publishers and retailers do that impact the author, there's nothing I can do to change what they do. I'll sit back, see how this plays out and act accordingly in order to benefit me in order to remain a full time writer. I hope that answers your question. :-)(less)

I love a good movie, but the problem with movies is what makes a good movie good is subjective. What I think is a good movie may not be your cup of tea. I accept that and you do too. However there are movies which take on iconic status because they're universally loved. Well, not quite. More often than not, I tend to be one person who doesn’t like certain iconic movies. Now this could because I... Read more of this blog post »

No Show (Excerpt) (Mystery & Thrillers)
1 chapters   —   updated Aug 04, 2013 06:43PM
Description: Englishman Terry Sheffield has just arrived in San Francisco to start his new life with Sarah, the investigative journalist he married after a transatlantic love affair. But Sarah never shows up at the airport… When Terry reports his wife as missing, the police chalk it up to a new bride with cold feet. Then one murdered woman after another turns up, all with something in common: they had exposed scandals just before their deaths…and their names appear on a list that Sarah composed. As a journalist, Sarah’s exposed her share of scandals, and Terry realizes that she’s not missing—she’s on the run. To find her before the killer does, Terry must explore the dark recesses of his new homeland and rely on the help of some new friends. But as his search brings him closer to finding Sarah, Terry realizes she’s very different from the woman he thought he married.

Description: HOT SEAT is the follow up to DID NOT FINISH. The book hits shelves in the US in July 2012. Things are looking good for Aidy Westlake. He's Pit Lane magazine's Young Driver of the Year, which has earned him a drive in the European Saloon Car Championship. But his good fortune ends at a race car show when he discovers Jason Gates, a mechanic from a rival team, with his throat cut. The murder sets off a disturbing chain reaction - someone is breaking the rules in the ranks of saloon car racing, on and off the track. Some people will kill to win.
