<about><![CDATA[Aaron was born and raised in Green Bay Wisconsin, and went to art school in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He's always drawn comics, and has always been searching for ways to put them out... contributing to school papers, making school papers when the school didn't have one, and making his own mini comics. Aaron went to school for a short period of time in New York city, and eventually moved to amazing and beautiful Portland Oregon. There he met his true love (who happens to be a dog) Beluga, and wrote his first book titled Spiral-Bound for Top Shelf Productions.

He's recently moved back to Brooklyn, New York and started working on his next big book titled the Unsinkable Walker Bean. He pays his rent doing illustration work for Nickelodeon Magazine and illustrating children's chapter books.
He is the recipient of the Will Eisner Comic Industry Award for Talent Deserving Wider Recognition, and a nomination for best Children's Album in 2005.
