  <about><![CDATA[Dwayne Kilbourne is an avid writer, businessman, and scholar-practitioner who brings passion to both his writing and professional demeanor. Mr. Kilbourne has been an eager and passionate poet for over fifteen years now. He turned to poetry as a means for release and expression. In addition, he sought out to help others through his writings as well.

As a businessman, he has functioned in numerous managerial roles. Additionally, he has run his own small business in the business and technology services, providing solutions to many along the way. In addition, Dwayne served the country through the United States Marine Corps Reserves between June of 2000 and February of 2008. During this time, he learned more about teamwork and dedication, and he instilled that in his teaching and writing.  

Dwayne is a vast advocate for education and learning. He has spent many years of his life learning and sharing his knowledge with others. He is currently pursuing his doctorate from Walden University’s program in Applied Management and Decision Sciences. Dwayne holds an MBA with foci in Marketing and e-Business from Walden University. He also holds his BBA in Marketing with a minor concentrate in e-Business from Baker College of Flint, where he was deemed honor graduate. Prior to that, Dwayne graduated from Clio Area High School, in Clio, Michigan, while taking college courses at Baker College of Flint during his senior year. He has received numerous accolades, awards, and professional certifications. 

Dwayne resides in Michigan, where he has lived all but about five years of his life. He enjoys spending time and conversations with his family and friends. Furthermore, he likes to play tennis, play the guitar, play the trumpet, workout, ride roller coasters and other thrill rides, and go skydiving.
