About this author

Kristen Landon always thought it would be nice to live in a place where winter never gets too cold. Besides one lovely winter in California, she has spent her life bouncing back and forth between Michigan and Utah – both great places in the spring, summer, and fall. She now lives with her husband and four children in a home with fabulous views of Utah’s beautiful mountains out every window.

When I wrote THE LIMIT I didn't intend for it to make a political statement. However, if readers want to look at it that way, it's okay with me.

I've had a few reviewers condemn THE LIMIT because adults would NEVER make their children responsible for their debt. Really? And what country are they living in?

Being an author of dystopian fiction, I had to finally get around to reading this book. I found it fascinating . . . especially seeing how big of an infulence it has had on novels that followed it.

I absolutely loved the beginning of this book. Creagh made me fall in love with a goth--which I thought would be impossible. The last 1/3 or so of the book became very confusing and uninteresting to me though. Not sure what happened.

Dark sci-fi YA. You really feel for the protagonist--and you hate some of the other characters . . . the sister . . .

A perfect, fun read for Christmas time. This book contains three short stories by three YA authors. Each author has his/her own style and cast of characters--but they connect and overlap. It's light and fun and clever.
