<about><![CDATA[After growing up in Indiana, authors Matthew Mellady and Boi Carpenter-Mellady met at Tulane Law School in New Orleans. They began their professional careers in Memphis and in 2000 moved to the Baltimore, Maryland area and soon welcomed their daughter Brynne into the world.

With Brynne as the focus of their lives and the inspiration for much of what they do, the authors often discuss the joys and challenges of parenting with their family, friends, and colleagues. Matthew and Boi enjoy teaching their daughter about etiquette and hope that their debut book, "What Do You Say As You Go Through Your Day?" will encourage other families—both children and adults—to use their very best manners at all times.
