In 1986 she met Jack Hillier, the world-renowned Ukiyo-e scholar, who became her mentor, and their friendship lasted until Hillier's passing in 1995. For more than twenty years she has devoted herself to the study of the woodblock p...more

So, it's no great surprise that my buying hasn't reduced; in some respects it's actually increased. Despite the current state of the economy, when I've been asked, generally at book signings, 'are people still buying books?', I've been in...more

That's great! You know why they took so long... to try to make more profit, they're not ordering them from publishers now, they're making them in the garden shed at the bottom of the Amazon staff garden.

1568328 I think the only time you can be claimed as being addicted or obsessed with SG1. Is if you have the Jaffa(cakes) armour in your front room, and a shrine to Jack O'neill -TWO "L'S"!- (it can't be Richard Dean Anderson on his own. Seeing as he was also Mcguyver.)

Come to think of it. I might buy it... It's a toss up of SG1 or Farscape. =(

1568328 Hey! Just saw your "To-read", they're selling SG:SG1 seasons 1 - 10 on Amazon for around £90 (at the present time.) That is if you haven't already got the series =p .
