Lynn Weingarten is a writer of books, eater of snacks, and friend of dogs. Hello!

Her first young adult novel, Wherever Nina Lies, was published by Scholastic Point. It was a NYPL Book for the Teen Age and a YALSA Teens’ Top Ten Nominee, an ALA Top Ten Popular Paperback for Young Adults, was nominated for the 2011-2012 Oklahoma Library Association’s Sequoyah Book Award, and has been translated into German. It was featured on NPR’s All Things Considered where Alan Cheuse said, “[it] reminds you of the really great voice of teenage characters, like, say, Holden Caulfield in ‘Catcher in the Rye.’” Lynn’s second young adult novel, The Secret Sisterhood of Heartbreakers, was released by HarperCollins’ HarperTeen imprint at the end of 2011.
