Author of the Peter Cotton series, which begins in 1944, and takes us to different countries around the world during the aftermath of the second world war and the dismantling of the British colonies

The first two books in the series, 'The Maze of Cadiz, and Washington Shadow, received excellent reviews. (See my website)

Washington Shadow', the second in the series, was shortlisted for the 2010 CWA Ellis Peters Historical Fiction Award.

and can also be downloaded on Kindle

Audiobook and large print versions are also available for both books.

The third book in the series, 'Icelight', is due out on 13 October 2011

Shortlisted for Ellis Peters Historical Fiction

I’ve just heard that ‘Icelight’ has been shortlisted for the CWA Ellis Peters Historical Award for Fiction - together with ‘The Crown’by Nancy Bilyeau, ‘I Will Have Vengeance’ by Maurizio de Giovanni, ‘Bitter Water’by Gordon Ferris, ‘Prague Fatale’ by Philip Kerr, ‘Sacrilege’by SJ Parris and ‘A Willing Victim’by Laura Wilson.
