About this author

John Nathan Hostettler served in the United States House of Representatives from 1995-2007. He served on the Armed Services Committee during his entire tenure. He served on the Agriculture Committee from 1995-2001 and on the Judiciary Committee from 2001-2007. He served as the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security and Claims for the Committee on the Judiciary from 2003-2007.
On October 10, 2002, John Hostettler was one of six Republican members of the House of Representatives to vote against the resolution authorizing President George W. Bush to invade Iraq.
