About this author

I was born in the UK and grew up on a council estate in central London. I went to a good Jewish school, but played truant a lot and failed to make the most of it. Although academically gifted, I was a school-phobic and did not enjoy it. The only thing I really enjoyed was playing for the school chess team.

After dropping out when I was 15, I drifted aimlessly, but stumbled into creative writing. (I had in fact had two very good English teachers at school, who encouraged and inspired me in this area.)

When my mother died shortly after I dropped out (no causal connection) my father decided that it was time for the family (I had two sisters at the time) to start a new life in Israel. My father remarried and I have another sister. However, unlike...more

You can get to them by clicking on the links above. But they will only be held at this price for one month. In September they will go up to £1.99 – still a bargain, but why wait?

Excellent thriller combing history and a modern conspiracy. Ideal for Dan Brown fans suffering from withdrawal symptoms!

Dani (Pen to Paper) Hi David,
Just checking up on how you are, and to make sure that you got my message that I sent last week? :)
Dani.

Dani (Pen to Paper) Hi David,

Just a quick one to let you know that although the bookseller account details STILL haven't come through for me, we do actually have some copies of your book in store now, and on Saturday I will be putting them as my recommend at the front of the store in the special display, with a scaled down version of my review.

Hope you're getting on well with your writing!

Dani xx

David I'll drop by soon.

Check out http://bookstolistento.com. I created it not just for me but for other authors to sell their books as audiobooks and eBooks direct to the public, without the high costs of batch printing or the higher per-unit costs of print on demand.

Also, because I'm a writer myself and don't believe in exploitation, we only take a small commission per sale, with the lion's share going to the writer/publisher.

David
