What I've learned since taking the Ever-Lasting Gobstopper Book Quiz:1. People like American Poetry. Ick. I'd be delighted never to hear a Robert Frost poem again.
2. People think the greatest authors since sliced bread are F. Scott Fitzgerald, James Joyce, and John Steinbeck. I can deal with Steinbeck; he did quite a nice treatment of King Arthur. The rest, no thanks.
3. People think the hottest author since JK Rowling is Stephenie Meyer. Given a choice between Stephenie and F. Scott, though, I'll take the lady. Maybe it's not mind-blowing prose, but it's fun and really true to the angst of adolescence.
4. Some people have too much time on their hands...
