About this author

Tasha Alexander, the daughter of two philosophy professors, grew up surrounded by books, and started writing them almost as soon as she’d figured out how to read them. She’s grateful these early works have not survived. After studying English at the University of Notre Dame, she worked a series of largely less-than-inspiring jobs in pursuit of health insurance and rent money. She traveled as much as she could, living in Amsterdam, London, Wyoming, Vermont, Connecticut, and Tennessee. Her first novel, And Only to Deceive, was published in 2004. Since then her work has been nominated for numerous awards and translated into more than a dozen languages. She and her husband, novelist Andrew Grant, divide their time between Chicago and the UK.

Ed Rambeau Thanks for accepting my friend request, Tasha. You seem like an interesting person, as well as quite the prolific author, so feel free to tell me more about yourself and perhaps we can grow to become even greater friends. I, myself, am a singer/songwriter/actor who has recently turned author. My 2 top ten recordings were CONCRETE & CLAY (as a singer) and NAVY BLUE (as a writer)...both in the early 1960's. My first novel is an unusual murder mystery entitled: FORBIDDEN STEPS.

Regards, and have a great day, Ed
