About this author

I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and I currently live in San Antonio, TX.

I draw comics about my life and sometimes about the music that makes my life worth living. Some of the more notable series I've started are:

Nothing Nice to Say
The Coffee Achievers
San Antonio Rock City
My Stupid Life
Turnstile Comix
As You Were

I like reading horror novels, drinking coffee, drawing comics, and spending time with my beautiful fiancee Amanda.

Beautifully written, thoroughly tragic, occasionally frightening. I was really misled when I picked this up because it was sold to me as "starts out as short stories and then it all comes together" to where I thought it was gonna become a novel or a...more

As a murder mystery, this was stellar, definitely Flynn's strongest book plot-wise. The scenery is just absolutely dreadfully dark and filthy. Really good stuff.

Pretty goshdang beautiful. Made me cry twice. In a row, I mean. I'm just a slow reader. But yeah, this is a wonderful book. Post-apocalyptic without even a hint of horror, kinda wild. Lots of stuff to think about, too, but I don't wanna spoil anythin...more
