I gave Midnight Island a bit of a facelift over the weekend. I'm hoping the new layout is easy to navigate and doesn't cause any mass confusion. Feel free to look around. Everything should be intact, but if it isn't, do let me know!

TBSOL progress is going very slowly (per usual) but it's going. I'm two chapters from the end. For those of you following the beta version at the TBSOL LJ, please note that I will be removing TBSOL v2 from the Internet soon after completion. But those of you that h...

For some reason I forgot to link to this here the other day:

eurOut has reviewed Alix & Valerie. Thanks eurOut!

As always, feel free to follow me on Twitter. I have no idea where we’re going, but I promise to stop and ask for directions.

You can become my fan on facebook. I don’t know what that means, but I think it involves me feeding you grapes. I think that’s how it works.

Read the new definition of Amazon Rank and join the Google bomb.

For those unaware: Amazon has stripped most if not all LGBT-related books of their sales rankings and limited their searchability. They now consider all lgbt books as “adult” material. This includes LGBT parenting books and classics such as The Well of Loneliness. Most - if not all - non-explicit lesbian romances, YA books, etc. have been affected as well, including Alix & Valerie.

I’ve managed to track down what I think are all of the translations for TBSOL (v1). If anyone should find any others, please let me know so I can add them to the list!

Thanks to all of the people that have taken the time to translate. I’m sure it’s a huge undertaking and I appreciate it.

swirlypentagramwtextI got a lot of questions about whether or not I'd be continuing Rayne or jumping into the sequel after I finished The Blind Side of Love.

My first priority after TBSOL will definitely be Rayne. I really didn't want to leave it dormant for so long, but I wanted to finish TBSOL before I dedicated myself to Rayne full-time.

I'm actually really excited about going back to it. I've had a lot of time to think about the characters and the story and where I want it to go. So I'm hoping to get back into th

ImageThe continuation to TBSOL is currently delayed due to a whole slew of factors, not the least of which is that I've been sick (then better, then sick again…)

I don't have a good estimate for when it'll be done, but rest assured that it will be done (God-willing).

In the meantime, I recommend watching NCIS. It's a really good show! Or Los Hombres De Paco. Or both. Preferrably both.

Happy 2009, everyone! Best wishes in the new year.

PS: My new Snoopy slippers say hi.
