Re: Sam (yep, he's the African American agent with the designer suits): I don't have anything currently in the works for him, but I am kicking around some ideas. The problem for me as a writer, however, is that once I mentally put a character in the "funny sidekick" role, I have a hard time seeing them in a lead role. I have the same problem with Jeremy, Jason's best friend in Just the Sexiest Man Alive--lots of readers have asked whether I'll write his book, and I've mused over ideas, but nothing's grabbed me yet. Same with Tyler in Practice Makes Perfect and Huxley in A Lot Like Love.

BUT... I never say never. I've given some thought to possibly doing a novella for Sam and I continue to muse over ideas. In the meantime, people should assume that he's happily got something going on with Rae after their Meet Cute in About That Night. : )

Hi Julie! I'm obsessed with all of your books. They are so good and help me take the stress of nursing school of my shoulders! You're my favorite contemporary romance author out there! I can't wait for your next book :] I was wondering though, is Sam , who if i'm correct is the stylish African American Agent, going to get a book? I would DIE if he did. None of my favorite authors have ever written a book with a African American protagonist :)
