David Lee King is the Digital Services Director at Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library, where he plans, implements, and experiments with emerging technology trends. He speaks internationally about emerging trends, website management, digital experience, and social media, and has been published in many library-related journals. David was named a Library Journal Mover and Shaker for 2008. His newest book, Face2Face: Using Facebook, Twitter, and Other Social Media Tools to Create Great Customer Connections, was published in September. I’ve had my newest camera for awhile now, so I thought it would be fun to compare it to an older camera of mine.


So here’s a video comparing the video and audio quality of two Canon Powershot point and shoot cameras:



Canon Powershot GX7 Mark II (my newest camera!)
Canon Powershot SD780 IS (my older camera)

Pretty sure the GX7 won the comparison hands down! But the older SD780 does ok, too.
