I was a 9-1-1 dispatcher for thirty-one years and to keep insanity at bay, I took up writing. Not to worry. The insanity isn’t catching – much. Other than the addiction to chocolate and the twitch in my left eye, I’m good. I’ve had my weird but true stories published in newspapers and magazines. My first book was The Ghost Wore Polyester, a murder mystery/comedy set in Sedona, Arizona. Just My Luck and The Warlord’s Comeuppance are the first two in the Coletti Warlord series. My paranormal romance books are The Nasty Vamp, it received 5 cup review at Coffee Time and 5 hearts at Sizzling Books and I Hear Voices, a paranormal romance in the vein of Raiders of The Lost Ark meets Romancing The Stone. My current project, Catching Dragos, feature ...more

“The coletti warlords scoured the galaxy in hopes of saving their race. They believed they had found an answer with our race. They believed our females would step in line with there demands, but we threw them on there ass. The Colletti's find out the strong females to be an asset to there race, and step up there pursuit. The stories that unfold are not only exciting, daring, and bold but are also quite funny. Watching the Bad ass Warlords get brought to there knees by the females who still earn their respect at the end makes for a great read!!”

Sandra Gail
Just caught the Menagerie blog. Awesome. Thanks for using my review.

Also, I meant to mention that the cover model is perfect. That is just how I picture Talree. And yes I just finished reading JML for the fourth time.

Cheers, Sandra

Bradley I got mini-oreos and a whiny baby. =)

message 3: by Gail

Gail Koger Mmmmm. Mini-oreos are great. Whiny baby not so much.
Ever tried writing with three crazy dogs running circles around your chair, crashing into you and barking hysterically? So much fun. Kinda kills the mood for hot sex scenes.

Bradley Ouch. =)

Sandra Gail, just had a look at the reviews for JML. You must be stoked. They are all 5 stars! Which of course,I definitely agree with. Congratulations.
Cheers Sandra

message 6: by Gail

Gail Koger It's good. But need to sell a lot more books before I can consider JML a success.

Sandra Gail there's one of those list things, I've invited you. I notice Rowena Cherry voted, presumably for herself, so why don't you also. I've already listed you and voted. These things are always a good source of new books to read, so go for it!

message 8: by Gail

Gail Koger Okay, don't know if something got cut off but what list?

message 9: by Gail

Gail Koger Chocolate is the only thing standing between me and a life behind bars.

message 10: by Pamela

Pamela Hi Gail,
Thanks for adding me as a friend!

message 11: by Gail

Gail Koger Hey us romance writers have to stick together.

message 12: by Sandra

Sandra Gail I blogged for you. Hope it goes well.

message 13: by Gail

Gail Koger Thank you! They are giving away a free copy of my book if you know anyone wanting one.

My goodreads listing is now added to my website.

message 14: by Sandra

Sandra Unfortunately no one I know has the same reading tastes as me. Most of my friends don't read much at all.

Which is one of the many reasons I'm glad you recommended GR to me. It is a delight.

I've always been a closet librarian, and last week I was 6th top librarian in the world. Woo Hoo!

Keep writing, I've read JML about 6-7 times and want the new one asap. (I know it won't be for a while but I'm just encouraging...oh, ah...pleading)

message 15: by Gail

Gail Koger My friends are as sick and twisted as I am so we read the same stuff. Hey work 9-1-1 very long and you are one sick puppy.

6th top librarian!! Way to go. I love goodreads, too.
I told my ex-writing parnter about it since she's writing another mystery but so far, she hasn't checked it out.

I'm working on Warlord as much as my schedule allows.
Still having lots of fun with Detja. I think the book after this will be her and Kaylee teamed up to create havoc on the universal level.

message 16: by Sandra

Sandra I love the idea of Kaylee & Detja, with the boys trying to chase them down, and only sometimes succeeding.

So clever.

Keep plugging away!

message 17: by Gail

Gail Koger Yep! Creating chaos on a galactic level.

message 18: by Sandra

Sandra Gail, another list. Stalkerific Romance Hero's. I've added JML.

Go for it. You'll be up against a lot of Kresley Cole's work, which is also terrific "stalkerific" romance.

message 19: by Gail

Gail Koger Thanks! I'll check it out. You're the best!

message 20: by Sandra

Sandra Wow, I go out for a while and come back to find you first on Stalkerific Romance Novel Heroes.

Well done!!

message 21: by Sandra

Sandra By the way, meant to say I've got Carolina Valdez's Portal to Darkness, quite good. 3 stars.

And whilst browsing a 2nd hand book shop last weekend, picked up Kerrelyn Sparks - All I want for Christmas is a Vampire. Unfortunately they didn't have the 1st one - How to marry a millionaire vampire, I'll keep looking.

message 22: by Gail

Gail Koger I haven't heard of her. I'll check to see if I can find it.

message 23: by Gail

Gail Koger I get everyone at work to vote for me. Sneaky!

message 24: by Sandra

Sandra Gail wrote: "I haven't heard of her. I'll check to see if I can find it."

You need more chocolate - you posted on Carolina Valdez's profile and you recommended Kerrelyn Sparks' book - How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire.

message 25: by Sandra

Sandra Gail wrote: "I get everyone at work to vote for me. Sneaky!"

I guessed.

message 26: by Gail

Gail Koger So what did you think about me getting that interview with a website in the UK?

message 27: by Sandra

Sandra I think it's fantastic.

More readers to drool over Talree and wish they were Kaylee...wiping mouth...

You didn't say when & where it was.

message 28: by Gail

Gail Koger Shelagh has a goodread page, too. Not sure when it will post, I just sent her the answers for their questions and of course, the pictures.

message 29: by Sandra

Sandra Checked out visual art junction, it looked pretty comprehensive, overwhelmingly so. Must have a lot of viewers, which is great.

Hope you got your chocolate fix.

message 30: by Gail

Gail Koger Any coverage helps. Marketing is hard work. I have to work this weekend. Fun. Fun, and no I didn't get any chocolate! So bummed out!

message 31: by Gail

Gail Koger Check out my interview at Visual Arts Junction

message 32: by Sandra

Sandra Yeah!! I think it looks great. Comes across very, very well. I made the first comment.

Regarding working this weekend, hope the crazies aren't out, just a week before Halloween. Does that work like the full moon?

message 33: by Gail

Gail Koger I saw your comment and thank you very much.

Full moon is really bad when you work at the police department - all the crazy folk come out to play. But those days are over. I worked the carnival yesterday and the only thing that was missing was the carnival workers teeth. I think it's a job requirement. That and taking drugs.

message 34: by Sandra

Sandra What were you doing at the Carnival?

Being around no teeth, drug taking carnies doesn't sound very good.

Hope you're OK.

message 35: by Gail

Gail Koger Working as a guard. Hey it paid $15 an hour and I need the money. Easy work. But I've seen worse at the police department.

Amazon and Fictionwise take up to three months to pay you, so I do what I have to to pay the bills

message 36: by Sandra

Sandra Yeah, funny thing about bills, they don't stop coming. And you still gotta eat & put a roof over your head.

message 37: by Gail

Gail Koger Too too true!

message 38: by Gail

Gail Koger I checked the Loose Id website today but didn't see anything about voting for your favorite story yet.

message 39: by Sandra

Sandra OK I've voted on Loose Id hot hooks contest. Most of your competition was M/M stuff, which doesn't interest me but who knows how people will vote.

Fingers crossed.

message 40: by Gail

Gail Koger I know, M/M stuff doesn't interest me at all. I'm pretty shameless, I even got the clerk at the Jack-In-The Box to vote for me and all the girls at my vets office. So, we will see. Thanks for your support!

message 41: by Sandra

Sandra What about all your fans/friends here on Goodreads. They'd be happy to read the next book.

And you're welcome for the support.

message 42: by Gail

Gail Koger It's worth a try - I only have two days left to get people to vote

message 43: by Sandra

Sandra Gail

My fingers & toes are crossed for Loose-id's Hot Hooks tomorrow your time.

message 44: by Gail

Gail Koger I know. Waiting to see. My job with Bank of America went south. Their reason for not hiring me was when I was asked how I found out about the job. I told them someone from the bank saw my resume on Career Builders and sent me the job information and I applied. They felt I wasn't really interested in the job. Huh? I applied because I was. I think my age was the real problem.

message 45: by Sandra

Sandra I don't know what to say that's not rude. Bummer!!!

Keep hanging in there.

message 46: by Gail

Gail Koger Still haven't heard or seen anything from Loose-Id.

message 47: by Sandra

Sandra Gail

Happy thanksgiving to you & the dogs.

message 48: by Gail

Gail Koger Thanks! Going over to my brother's house. Nice to have a day off.

Hope you have a great day, too!

message 49: by Sandra

Sandra Gail,

You made Top 5 Hot Hooks Pick at Loose-Id. Hope you are writing fast & furiously. What a great Thanksgiving present.

message 50: by Gail

Gail Koger Had a forty foot branch come down in my backyard on Thanksgiving. It landed on my neighbor's fence - thank God no damage but it cost me $180 to get it removed! Ugh! Need to work more overtime now.

How's things with you?
