It's official; I'm an honorary dad. This fun book brought back from the depths of my memory all those sick jokes ('sick' in the old sense; not the new)my generation used to say as kids. But to the newest generation, they are sure to be fresh and gigg...more

While the illustrations for this book were not my style, I enjoyed the their semi-comic nature(e.g. the use of speech bubbles). This story about a child's struggle with undiagnosed dyslexia was informative and interesting, and will no doubt be useful...more

Simple, lyrical writing follows various animal mothers and their babies as they settle down to sleep...and hopefully so will your little one by the end of this story. A lovely picture book - story and pictures work really well together.
