Elizabeth (Liz) Engstrom grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois (a Chicago suburb where she lived with her father) and Kaysville, Utah (north of Salt Lake City, where she lived with her mother). After graduating from high school in Illinois, she ventured west in a serious search for acceptable weather, eventually settling in Honolulu. She attended college and worked as an advertising copywriter.

After eight years on Oahu, she moved to Maui, found a business partner and opened an advertising agency. One husband, two children and five years later, she sold the agency to her partner and had enough seed money to try her hand at full time fiction writing, her lifelong dream. TheWordcrafters In Eugene writers conference will happen March 7-9, 2014.

A lot of people are putting massive amounts of organizational energy into it. Now the website is up and we’re beginning to recruit presenters and keynote speakers.

While I think Mr. King tends to overwrite, and this book has way too many explanations and convenient ways to deal with the paradoxes that are inherent in time travel, his story-telling skills are still remarkable. As much as I intended to not enjoy...more

This is an extreme case of sibling dysfunction, expertly told by Alan Clark. Three sisters, at once rivals and co-dependent, encourage each other in their lawlessness. Very creepy, yet a satisfying read.

This is a look into the weird modern day vampire culture, and there is no one better qualified to discuss the matter or delve into its perpetrators and victims than Dr. Ramsland. Nicely done!
