| The American South is not just another region, it's another country, another world. Suckhole forges it into a world of truth and misconception. An honest, hilarious, wild, weird look at the American redneck and his universe. | |

| Ugly as sin and full of terrible truths. Some horror describes mankind confronting the unspeakable. Lee says the unspeakable. These are the rotten mysteries of the soul. | |

| I liked this, though I think it would have been better as a novella. The book's pacing turned me off somewhat, but from reading Brain Cheese Buffet, I knew I had something grim and grisly to look forward to. And when the book gets going and the shit...more | |

You have the perfect number of friends! Just got Murderland 2 the other day...looking forward to cracking that puppy open!
By not putting most of the books I read on my shelf. And I'm sure you will beat me because this situation indicates a certain degree of indolence on my part. An indolence I am not sure I have the time or the energy to rectify. In fact, this post makes me sort of sleepy.
You jag-off, how did you get more friends than you have books on your bookshelf?I'm going to beat you.

It's petty and enormously relevant at the same time. I just use the tools I need for my work and I encourage anybody to do the same. If you can try to make your work visceral or fun as well as smart, people deserve that.

But, in a similar weird vein to your search results, on account of my last name, my book has been rated one of Amazon's top humorous cookbooks on three occasions.
When I typed "Murderland Part 1" into my library's catalog search the first book that came up was "Life is a Fulfilling: The story of a Mormon pioneering woman." I think the Tucson Public Library system is sentient and has developed humor.
Hi Garrett and thanks for adding me as a friend. My bday is in July, too.....we 'moonchildren' are so creative, aren't we? Smiles,
