about this author
Milan Oklopdžić was born in 1948 in Belgrade where he graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and then... Polyethylene America without a single grain of desert sand, palm leaves coloured with dreams, without the wilderness of hunters' hearts trapped in claws of civilization; America which draws its vibrations from Ampex tracks from beatlemania post-period letting down the throat maths laboratory dreams LSD-25, IT-290, DMT avidly, sullenly, with hope, instead of letting soda, or drops from a stream of mountain fountain. Fountain…and then…he had his master’s degree in a sunny, californian university in the company of Shepard, Hendrix, Snyder, Kirk, Garcia, Ferlinhetti, Miles, Kesey, Williams, Corea and a Remingtom typing machine. Played dramas: In the meantime, Marquise of Blue Dreams and Air Storage.
Trip to the dreamland and memory of time spent on the West Coast and a fearful blues. A book which according to many facts reperesents an event…written with a filming camera and recorded with an ordinary typing machine.
