About this author

I was born and raised in Dyersburg, TN, lived in Memphis for six years, and currently live in St. Louis, Missouri. The south has a huge influence on my writing. I am the author of three books: The Other Side of What (published in 2003), Stealing Wishes (published in 2008), and Are You Sitting Down? (published in 2010). I love to read. Also love to write poetry. Other hobbies include painting, gardening, blogging, and watching movies.

After yesterday’s post of my half eaten lilies after being moved to their new home, I was shocked the next day to find that one of them still managed to bloom. And oh what a beautiful bloom it is despite the fact that it has no leaves. Hey rabbits, the lilies will not be defeated!!

Having read all the Odd Thomas books, and having been highly disappointed with the last two, I still had sincere hopes that Koontz would not disappoint with this new one. He did not live completely up to that expectation.

Gosh, I had high hopes for this one. I even listened to it on audio thinking that would help. The only thing audio did was force me to listen to the whole thing, whereas when I read part 3 in the series (Brother Odd) at least then I could skim throug...more
