<about><![CDATA[Jim was born in Richmond, Virginia in 1960. On his 17th birthday he decided to write a book. Using notebooks and pencils he penned "The Scarecrow". The book sat in his closet for the next 23 years, until he purchased his first computer. It was then he discovered the ease of use for writing the computer offered. He went to his closet and located his book, dusted it off and began to load it into the computer. After many rewrites and additions it was finished. Since that time he has written several short stories and poems. Two of his poems were published in Demonminds Magazine. His other poems and short stories can be found in his blog on Multiply.com. He plans to add some of them to his writing on this site as well.]]></about> <influences><![CDATA[Stephen King]]></influences> <gender>male</gender> <hometown>Richmond</hometown> <born_at>07/31/1960</born_at>
