He has no memory and no identification. When put with a piano, however, he proves to be a brilliant musician. This book is a philosophical exploration of mediocrity and excellence, and poses the ethical dilemma of mentally challenged savants, which causes friction between the husband and wife.

Cheryl Hi Letitia,

First, thenak you for considering to vote for my novel Lancelot's Lady at Textnovel.com. I could definitely use your support.

You asked about the title of the contest "Next Best Celler"...yes, it's "Celler" and not "Seller" like we'd expect. :-)

Textnovel is the first site in North America to take on the Japanese craze of cell phone novels. Writers can write and submit their stories via their cell phones (or by computer) and readers can read using their cells or their computer too. The younger generation loves this kind of technology.

I am one of few professional authors on Textnovel, and I'm quite enjoying it. The competition is sponsored by Dorchester Publishing, a publisher I'd be very happy to land a contract with since my last publisher didn't work out.

Thanks again for considering to vote. I hope you do. I wanna win. :-) lol

Cheryl

John T. Wills

Thank you for being a friend and we know a friend is one attached to another by affection or esteem. One that is of the same nation, party, or group that favors or promotes something, which is how we met here. I will just say you’re very special and a highly favored. I would greatly appreciate you’re viewing my webpage to read a full chapter and reviews to which one wrote:

"Not since The Color Purple have I read a book that evoked such emotions. John T. Wills possesses the ability to transport the reader directly into the life and struggles of his main characters story. I was educated in a way that did not afford me the benefit of truly understanding the significance of the historical events taught from a stand alone perspective. This book actually touched my heart and inspired me to increase the equity in my "dash"! Excellent -- Tonja Covington

I am sending my wishes to you for the blessings of peace, joy, and success…

message 21: by Marcus

Marcus Good day...I just saw your question on my book's page...here's what it's all about, in a nutshell...

It's basically about four guys that all worked in advertising, each systematically laid off during the bush era recession... the first half of the book shows the hopelessness involved with job hunting during a recession, the second half takes a strange turn as the main characters find themselves struggling with their own morality as they take to a life of crime. It also focuses on the American Dream, high school reunions, the strange gap between youth and adulthood...

Thanks for asking!

Juliet Why thank you!

Congrats on your first published book!

Is that a henna tattoo on the side of your face in your profile photo?

Andrea Kulman Thank you, Letitia... :o)

Andrea Kulman Stephen King, I could not ever write like him, nor would I try. I think what truly makes him stand out is how many, many books he has written. Even through the times that nobody noticed him, he kept writing. What a passion for writing he has. Honestly, if any other writer has that passion, I think eventually, they too, will be noticed.

Bradley Light fantasy? =) hmm, it is a good creative yarn without serious death and depression overtones. A fun read I suppose.. but I am of course biased since I created it. Does that help any? I call it light fantasy because I originally wrote this story when I was coming out of my teen years. It has been sharpened to a keen edge over time as I matured as a writer, but the story between the lines is the story of my innocence and how it slowly bled away to the horrors of everyday life. =) That is the story between the lines as it were.. which can be glimpsed on my blog.. hehehe. The story itself.. which I could probably ramble about all day long, lol, is a good one in my humble opinion. =)

Bradley Greetings Lady Rose of Rohan, thank you for allowing me to be your friend. May your horses find the ground beneath their hooves unbroken and fleeting. =)

Andrea Kulman Hi, Thanks for being a friend on Good Reads. Andrea M. Kulman, Author of The Drama Unfolds.

Rosemary I'm disappointed we won't meet in Seattle, but perhaps at the 2009 Historical Novel Society conference. Women of Magdalene is the novel of mine you might find most to your taste--thanks so much for your interest.

Your choice of a Regency setting for Heatherstone reminded me of how Georgette Heyer's Regency novels diverted me years ago through months of morning sickness. Now I look forward to the birth of your book.

Rosemary Letitia, thanks so much for the add. Congratulations on your historical novel. If you haven't already done so, you may want to submit it to Historical Novels Review for reviewing and look into the Historical Novel Society (http://www.historicalnovelsociety.org).

On Oct. 10th, I plan to be in Seattle for the opening of my play "The Little Death" at the Odd Duck Studio. If you are in town then, please stop by.

Best wishes with your reading and writing!

message 1: by Seri

Seri No! I guess I wasn't thinking about that. Sometimes this site fools me into thinking I am typing a private message. Where's the privacy?

For some reason I don't fear anyone on this site but maybe I am underestimating them -I can't imagine a headline "Man murdered because he posted his number on Goodreads.com" - Maybe I did it for Freudian reasons ... because I want people to call me to talk about books...hmm who knows?

That's quite a project though! To synthesize two philosophers like that into your own philosophical system. I'm familiar with Descartes' mind body dualism but I think I will have to pick up a copy of the "Tragic Sense of Life" now.

Unamuno divides humans into a twofold nature as well it seems - the rational desire for truth, and the irrational desire for immortality - somehow faith comes from the two. I think I will love Unamuno because I am very interested in how fear of death drives the individual. Is this what you mean by the "heart"?

Thanks for reccomending him to me!
