Starting his life in the mid-seventies, J. Grant was born in Oklahoma and grew up in Southern California. In 1995 he moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas and besides a brief period in Boulder, Colorado, still runs a muck in the DFW area.

Grant is most known from his on line comic series FLEM COMICS and most recently TWO LUMPS: THE ADVENTURES OF EBENEZER AND AND SNOOCH, which he is co-creator with his wife, Mel Hynes.
