about this author

Christopher G. Ciccone is the brother of Madonna, and has worked as Madonna's assistant, dresser, backup dancer, stylist, and artistic director. He is an artist and interior decorator by profession.
He is also co-author of the book Life with My Sister Madonna which has sparked controversy due to claims about Madonna's personal life. In the book, he criticizes her lifestyle, saying that she is a "control freak". He also criticizes Madonna's husband Guy Ritchie, saying Ritchie's homophobic attitude has strained the openly gay Ciccone's relationship with his sister. He further criticizes Madonna's Kabbalah faith, saying that it has validated her negative behavior, and he claims that she has tried to blackmail him into joining the religion.
Released on July 14, 2008, the book has reached #2 on the New York Times Best Seller List, #16 on amazon.com's bestseller list, and #26 on barnesandnoble.com's bestseller list.
