Beatriz Preciado (Burgos, 1970) is a Spanish philosopher. Her main contributions are within the field of "Queer Theory".

She received her Ph.D. in the Theory of Architecture at Princeton University where she earned special distinction to which she was a research career. She earned a Master of Philosophy and Contemporary Theory of Gender in the New School for Social Research in New York. She studied with Agnes Heller and Jacques Derrida. Later, at Princeton University, Ph.D. in Architectural Theory. In 1999, march to Paris thanks to an invitation to participate in Derrida's seminars L'Ecole des Hautes Etudes in Social Sciences.
