Description:
A colony of faeries lives among the lush green forests of Roscommon, Ireland near the Arigna Mountains. Their lives would be peaceful were it not for the humans who live in the area with them. The humans dislike faeries and their magic, and the two races are often at odds. But faerie or human, love makes no distinction. And both will soon find that love is the greatest magic of all.
Conall may be human, but he is Aisling’s life mate. She’s certain of it. After all, a faerie knows these things. Can her magic end the feud between their families? And just how is faerie dust made?

Ms. Lilley receives major kudos from me for such a realistic/accurate portrayal of the time period through her description and dialog. Readers of the old, sweet Harlequin romances will probably love this one. However, it wasn't for me. I read for an...more |

| Okay, so maybe I shouldn't post a review/rating for my own book. lol But this was the first book I ever wrote. I enjoyed writing it so much, loved the characters so much, that I decided I wanted to be a romance writer. :) | |

| Great characters, great suspense. I don't usually choose titles from the Intrigue line. I usually prefer the Nocturnes or an historical of some kind. But I recently finished another of Leigh Riker's books, so I decided to give this one a try. I'm gla...more | |

| Pretty good. Wish they had 1/2 stars. This one would get 3 1/2. Likable characters. Good story line. Will definitely read more by Candice Hern. | |

Glad to see another goodreading Tennessean. I like your comment on writing romance because there has to be a happily-ever-after ending. I enjoy writing mysteries because in my books the bad guys always get it in the end. Which, as you know, is not the way it happens in real life. I don't go for a lot of gore and sex and profanity that you find in many mysteries. My protags are PI's, a couple in their mid-sixties, who enjoy life and like to give each other a little zinger now and then. Happily, my wife is an integral part of my operation. Not in writing, but in selling. When we do a booksigning, she stands at the entrance, passes out promo flyers, and directs people to my table.
