Technically I am an internationally award winning filmmaker. I became an author when I turned one of my screenplays into a novel. I don't really make a distinction between my film work and my written works. It's the 21st century. Everything is a text and a way of telling a story. It doesn't matter to me if the words I write are never seen by an audience the way they are in my films, or if they are read by an audience and never seen on screen. The distinctions only matter to those who like to label people.

I define myself as a writer, director, producer, and star because I write, direct, produce, and star in my works. I generally tend to do comedy or romantic comedy. I would say that I am a comedian. My works have a romantic element to them,

“So I got in my car and decided that I was going to run a red light and hit another car on purpose. I was sure that I could do this. I was prepared to do this, except that every time I changed the station i heard "How to Save a Life" I couldnt kill myself to a song that is about suicide. I would make my death too commercialized. Plus I started to think that i really did love my car and didnt want anything to happen to it.”

“Women can say what they want about guys not listening because we are too busy trying to fix the problem. Women are always too busy trying to fix men to ever hear about our problems.”
Jack Gunthridge, Broken Hearts Damaged Goods

“I was going to kill myself today. I'm not sure what the reason was, or even if I want to tell you anyway. I know that you probably dont care, even if I explained the problem, so I will just tell you how I failed. That should make you happy since you like to believe that I'm a failure.”

“The trouble with writing a book about yourself is that you can’t fool around. If you write about someone else, you can stretch the truth from here to Finland.
