Pastor Joe is husband to Anita, father to Robbie, pastor of Genesis, leader of the fshbwl team (www.fshbwl.com), and is actively involved in the Capitol Hill neighborhood where he lives.

Joe and Anita met in January of 1998 as Joe began a Christian education internship at Vineyard of Faith Ministry in Windsor, CA. The two became friends and grew close while working together on various youth ministry events. They were married in June of 2001. In September of 2006, their son Robbie was born in Denver, Colorado.

Between the wedding and Robbie's birth, Joe and Anita spent three years in St. Louis, Missouri so Joe could attend Concordia Seminary. During his Seminary years, Joe's heart for church planting shifted from a suburban to an urba...more
