about this author
Kelli Stanley likes fog, which is a good thing because she lives in San Francisco. Her first novel, NOX DORMIENDA (A Long Night for Sleeping), won the Bruce Alexander Memorial Historical Mystery Award (March, 2009) has been nominated for a Macavity Award (Sue Feder Memorial Historical Mystery, May, 2009) and was a Writer's Digest Notable Debut (July/August, 2008).

description:
Arcturus.
It’s the name of the brightest star in a familiar constellation. It’s also the name of a man who could use a little light in the dark, rainy streets of Londinium.
Nox Dormienda is his world. He lets us in the door. And then he tells us what he thinks about it.
Consider this an introduction. You’ll get to know him better.
