About this author

Daniel Logan lived in the Southwest for a brief time as a boy and retains vivid memories of its culture and spectacular geography. Years later, his visits to the majestic, red-rock terrain of the land of the Anasazi--the Ancient Ones--convinced him that a space/time connection exists there. His novel brings that connection to life.

After completing a corporate career, Daniel and his wife, Connie, moved to Morse Reservoir near his home town of Carmel, Indiana, where he is writing his next novel, "The Lost Portal."

Description: An amateur trumpet player myself, I attended a Doc Severinson concert held in a magnificently restored theater in Anderson, Indiana. One particular arrangement blew me away and a short time later, I wrote this piece about that performance.

With a superb writing style, excellent detail and thrilling pace, Preston once again demonstrates he is a top notch author.

Although the premise was a little over the top, I could not stop reading this story, staying up way too late to finish it.

I shared a table with Jim "Hutch" Hutchinson at a recent authors' fair in Indianapolis and found him to be an engaging personality. I have a fascination with the 8th Air Force and its experiences in WWII, so I purchased a signed copy of his book.

This is a uniquely written book.

To begin with, there were over 50 named characters to introduce and follow. I had to make up a table to keep track of all of them. (I could have saved myself some of the effort because the main characters and their de...more
