Description:
This is my memoir of my quest to get to the bottom of the schizophrenia that runs rampant in my family, following a maternal line from Boston back to County Roscommon. I don't have it, but many in my family do. The book is being published Sept. 2 by Bantam Dell, a division of Random House, and has been named to the September Indie Next list of the indiebound.org folks from the American Bookseller's Association. So Stalking is off to the race. Here's the first part of my first chapter. Enjoy . . . . PT

Warms my heart to hear of the sale off the Indie Next display down there, J.A. Kind of you to tell me. Here in Boston yesterday I discovered that the last of two copies on sale at the Amtrak station book kiosk had been swiped right off the shelves.
When the book shop clerk told me, I wasn't sure out to feel - flattered or taken to the bank . ? Thanks for the sale. Best, Patrick
