Neil Plakcy is the author of Mahu, Mahu Surfer, Mahu Fire, Mahu Vice and Mahu Blood, mystery novels which take place in Hawaii, as well as the short story collection Mahu Men. The newest Mahu Mystery, Zero Break, is due from MLR in March 2012

His M/M romance novels are GayLife.com, Mi Amor, and the Have Body, Will Guard series: Three Wrong Turns in the Desert, Dancing with the Tide and Teach Me Tonight. The fourth Aidan and Liam book, Olives for the Stranger, is due from Loose Id in 2012.

He has also written the golden retriever mysteries In Dog We Trust and The Kingdom of Dog.

He is co-editor of Paws & Reflect: A Special Bond Between Man and Dog (Alyson Books, 2006) and editor of the gay erotica anthologies Hard Hats, Surfer Boys, Skater...more

I really enjoyed this book-- thought it was a great page-turner, and very well-structured. I liked being able to analyze the way she dropped hints that then paid off later on.

Thanks so much! I love Liam and Aidan too and am always glad to hear that others do! The third book in the series, Teach Me Tonight, sends them on assignment together to a summer study program in Bizerte, on the Mediterranean coast, to protect a student who has been threatened. Aidan rediscovers how much he loves teaching, and Liam's friend Joey shows up... leading to all kinds of complications! It's in the copy edit stage now so should be out in the next month or two.

Hi Neil,
Thanks for the invite...Can I just tell you I read Three Wrong Turns in the Desert and Dancing with the Tide this week and LOVED THEM!! I read with a group of friends, and we just could not get enough of Liam and Aidan. What fantastic men, so sweet, funny, and HOTTTT! The adventure was great as well.
Anyways thanks for great books and looking forward to more of those boys!
