Matthew Quick's debut novel THE SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK (Sarah Crichton Books / Farrar, Straus & Giroux) was short-listed for the PEN/Hemingway Award and lauded by People, The Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio, Publishers Weekly, and others. For NPR, Nancy Pearl picked TSLP as one of 'Summer's Best Books' (2009). The movie rights have been optioned by The Weinstein Company, and David O. Russell has written the screenplay adaptation. TSLP has been translated into Italian, Spanish, and Chinese (forthcoming); it was also published in the UK by Picador.
