This was interesting reading but I think I need to read it again as it is very dense and requires a lot of thought. Although I enjoyed it, I enjoyed the Ibis books more as their settings and the characters gripped my imagination more than these did.

Nell Grey Irene, it does need a little time and care to make sure all the details are correct on the form, although you don't have to fill them all in - you could just correct the title and upload the cover. Good luck for later!

Irene Black Nell - thanks for this which has put me in a flap! I won't be able to do anything about it for a while - I've tried today and it's so complex I'm getting nowhere and I have to go away. I'll attend to it when I get back. But many thanks. What a mess!

Nell Grey Irene, you need to edit the title of Noontide Owls, which has somehow managed to get itself listed as Noonside Owls. I'd do it myself, but can't as I'm not a librarian (you can because it's your book). You can also upload a cover image.

Irene Black That's music to my ears, Nell - thanks!

Nell Grey Irene, I'm reading Darshan: A Journey again and loving it anew. Ah... India.

Irene Black Thanks Nell - and thanks for the author page tip - I'll try and work it out!

Nell Grey Irene - you've uploaded a pic - how lovely to 'see' you at last! Do you know that you can request an author page? I think you can find more information on the Goodreads home page under 'Promotion for Authors', or something similar.

PS: It's down at the very bottom in tiny script: 'author programme' - Just click on that. Good luck!

Nell

Irene Black Hi Carol - the more eclectic the better, I'd say! Thanks for 'friending me'. I'm a Goodreads virgin and still can't figure it all out.

carol Hi Irene I have an eclectic taste in reading...hope it doesnt put you off.

Irene Black Jackie is also on Goodreads. She's more adept than I am of finding her way around - I just lose patience. But I'm persevering (when I get time!!!)

message 3: by Nell

Nell Grey It's quite a labyrinth - I keep getting lost and muddling and losing threads I've commented on. There's a real danger of adding one's books to a thread more than once - care is definitely needed! Joining a group or two seems to help provide stability.

Anne is here too and I've asked to be her friend...! (echoes of the playground) - if she says 'No' I won't create any more covers for her books...;)

Irene Black Made it - but still foraging in the dark! Will get the hang of it eventually!
