<about><![CDATA[Born Gramercy Park section of New York City and remanded to Nassau County, Long Island at the age of 3. Pursued writing seriously since age of 10 or 11 with one 15-year detour as a musician. Attended University of Chicago to become a writer, but left to pursue a life of crime as rock guitarist, porno soundtrack composer, apprentice jingle-writer, dance music producer, moving man and bike messenger. Returned to writing in 1995 and have since been published in lots of alternative and indie publications, and a few upper crusty ones as well. Currently living outside Chicago with wife and son.
