I am a freelance writer and artist from the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles, California. I attended Temple City High School where I actively wrote for publications such as LA Youth, Temple City Voice, and Teen Ink. I attended Pepperdine University for two years and dropped out -- events that inspired the book The Sophomore Year Experience. I now go to Pasadena City College, and write for companies such as Storyverse Studios and TheBouqs.com. In my free time, I enjoy writing, reading, painting, drinking tea, and going for late night drives. I'm a big fan of queer lit and alt poetry, so feel free to recommend any to me if you come by them.

Check out my semi-fictional poetry book which you can read here.

Tender Is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald
"I mean…it begins badly, tails off a bit in the middle, and the less said about the ending the better.

Occasionally, there are books that leave you at a loss as to how to dismiss them. Reading this I kept thinking of a line from Stoppard's The Real..." Read more of this review »

Tender Is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald
"This book is so pointless, you could read the chapters in random order and probably not feel like you'd missed much. This marks my second and final attempt to read it. I almost made it to the halfway point this time. If you loved The Great Gatsby,..." Read more of this review »

This novella would literally be great if the protagonist didn't have to remind us that blacks were inferior to whites every other sentence.

"Oh look! I see some negroes! P.S. Negroes are inferior to white me, just wanted to remind you again."
