Can't get enough of Spenser and Hawk, the characters are full of wit, intellect, and strength. Parker's dialogue may be the best written in any genre, just the back and forth verbage between the two central figures alone is worth the reading.

Not his best work, but a passable read, it's pretty hard to live up to the likes of Lonesome Dove and definitely a step up from the Berrybender junk.

Jesse Stone keeps up the Paradise Police work. Parker's work never disappoints. I only wish the Jess Stone TV movies were close to being this good. Nothing against Tom Selleck, think he's great, but the books just overpower the films.

I may enjoy Parker's westerns even more than his detective novels. This sequel to Appaloosa is a brilliant work worth reading more than once. Hitch and Cole keep the fire burning. Great read!!!
