Carmen Rodrigues I think it would be cross-shelved (as the classic is now), possibly seen as historical fiction in both sections. I think teens relate to the emotional changes Jane experiences more so than any other group. She has left behind her adolescence to accept this position as a nanny (although she teaches prior to that position, she is still in her "childhood" home) and encounters adult-situations that she's not quite sure how to navigate. It's very much a coming-of-age story, and a favorite of mine!

Alyssa Hi Carmen! Thanks for the friend request - and yes, everyone is special in their own ways ;)

If Jane Eyre were published in today's times - which I honestly don't believe it would have been because it has nothing to do with today's trends - I think that it'd be one of those books nobody is sure about, which nobody knows who to recommend it to. It's a book that definitely has to do with adolescence, but it is also very centered on growing up and making adult situations. It'd probably be categorized in the adult section. What do you think?

Carmen Rodrigues Aw, thanks Precious Mae! Such lovely words! And thank you for adding 34 PIECES OF YOU to your TBR list! Means a lot to me. :)

Precious Mae of The Flipping Bookworm Hi! Thanks for adding! I appreciate it! :)
Love your work! God bless!

Carmen Rodrigues Agreed. I guess we'll see how that works out!

Teazia Cockburn M and R just seemed like a good fit. It was really surprising to find out that they had broken up, totally unexpected.

Carmen Rodrigues I post a new chapter once a week! But I assure you, you will find out why M and R broke up. Do you like them together?

Teazia Cockburn you need to finish posting a little something please i have finished what you've got up there i hope you explain why marisol and ryan broke up

Carmen Rodrigues You're sweet, Teazia! I'm so glad you're enjoying the chapters! Since it's a serial novel (not hardbound or e-book), I took it off Goodreads. Just consider it my gift to you and the rest of my readers! :) Can't wait to see what you think of 34 PIECES OF YOU when it comes out this September. :)

Teazia Cockburn hey i am currently reading a little something the sequel to not anything and its really good you need to get it added on to goodreads so i can give it five stars!!!

Carmen Rodrigues You're welcome!

Savannah Carmen, thank you for the friendship.
