This:

is the view out my front door right now. And as my boys said this morning, "It's just not right." and "it's too cold." All I could say to that was, "Spoken like true Texans." Actually, it's pretty and since I don't have to be anywhere at the moment I'm okay with it. I am a bit bummed though. Because of the snow my grandparents won't make it down for Christmas tonight. I"ll have to take them their presents sometime next week. I hope all of you have a great holiday. Remember to ch...

With Abandon

“If you don’t fuck her, I swear I’m disowning you.”

Clutching the phone to his ear, Matt stared out the bedroom window at the city below. He had the urge to bang his head against the glass. Here he was feeling way out of his element, in an apartment that cost more than his dad...

It's been awhile since I posted so I thought I'm give a progress report on the WIP.  I've been working on the next With/Without story.  I've tentatively titled it With Abandon.  So far so good.  I"m loving these characters and really cooking right along.  I think I'd forgotten how fun the wolves can be.  Matt is a delight to write and Aubrey is pretty intense and makes me really think.  So far Aubrey and I have only butted heads once, but I suspect that is going to happen more in the followi...

I'm reworking an old Jeigh story, and wow!   To say I've improved is putting it mildly.   I've found a lot of  "was".  Let me give you an example.

He looked magnificent. I felt my heart stutter in response.

His chiseled chest was gleaming with perspiration. The nipple ring glimmered in the light, and his hard abdomen moved in and out with each breath. The pearly white feathers of his wings fluttered slightly and gleamed under the bright fluorescent office lighting. I love his wings; they are...

HCH is now in Ebook.   I't about 10k larger than the print version in the Studs & Spurs anthology  and a tad different.  the same basic story is the same with a few adjustments to plot points.

A temporary arrangement? Don’t bet the ranch on it…

At the tender age of seven, newly orphaned Micah Jiminez lost everything—and got lucky. The Delaney family opened their hearts and their home, treated him like one of their own. One Delaney in particular, though, became more than a brother to Micah...

I'm finally back online.  We were without internet for a week.  YUCK!  I think I discovered a new interrogation technique.  Trust me, if they threaten to cut off my internet access, I'd sing like a bird.  I'd even make stuff up.   Anyway, our cable modem went out and I got tired of hearing how it's something I did, it never ever was,  and decided to switch providers.  So now we have the internet back up and running, but I can't get on my website to update.  My host has done something funky.  So

I've been doing a lot of thinking.  I need to devote some time to Jeigh and her stories.  I have a story I did awhile back called Adventures of the Soul, it's a first person narrative from the heroine's pov.   I LOVE writing in the first person pov.   I love reading the first person POV in mystery/suspense.  Not so much in romance.  I'd love to get an opinion from people.  I'm really trying to make up my mind about the next Jeigh project.  JL is easy, I'm going to do wolves.  I'm going to do Ma
