Carol, thanks so much for the friend invitation. So you live in Lafayette--my family and I enjoyed one of our best vacations there many years ago. I wish you the best with your reading and writing!
Hi from down under Carol. Dropped by to see what’s new with you.

Hi Carol,Thanks for the friendship invitation. I'm afraid your Constant Reader meeting in September is a little far away for me to attend from Perth, Australia. But I hope it all goes well for you. Congratulations on getting your books out. I'm hoping to join you shortly on the authors' side. In the meantime, a lovely book I have just finished reading is The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards.

I agree Carol, I think us readers and writers are an interesting, eclectic, bunch. We are observers as well as participants. We are stenographers of the soul.
Hi Carol!
Thank you for the friend request and I hope all is well! Take care and have a great day! :)
Hi Dee Dee.
You're most welcome, and I look forward to discussing books with you on Goodreads.

Hi Jeannie.
You love Louisiana? Then, obviously, you don't live here. :-) I am from Georgia, a Georgia Peach through and through, and I hate Louisiana; plus, I swear it hates me back. But, alas, this is where my husband was offered a job, so I'm stuck here for now. On the other hand, to borrow from the late-and-great Southern writer Lewis Grizzard, "If I ever get back to Georgia, I'm gonna nail my feet to the ground."
