About this author

I was 12 years old when my first cartoon was published in a Toronto newspaper. I got paid five dollars for that cartoon, and have been inspired to draw fun and silly pictures ever since.

As well as being an award-winning editorial cartoonist, I'm is also an author and illustrator of children’s books and humour books. My cartoons have been published in Reader’s Digest, the National Post, The London Times, the London Evening Standard, The Hamilton Spectator and The Chronicle of Higher Education. I've also worked as a library technician, a book binder, a desktop publisher and a graphic designer – all interesting experiences which I think are helpful in creating books for children. Also excited to mention that I’ll be having one more NEVER LET YOU GO book launch at one of my favourite book stores, A Different Drummer in Burlington. This launch means a lot to me, because I spent a lot of time as a teen hanging out in that old Victorian House, browsing books, buying what I could afford, and playing with their cat.
