I've published a couple of dozen stories, have been a finalist for all of the major science fiction and fantasy literary awards (Hugo, Nebula, World Fantasy), seen my work frequently reprinted, translated into a half-dozen languages around the world, and praised by the New York Times Book Review.

One of my recent stories, "Another World For Map is Faith" made the long list in the 2007 Best American Short Stories volume, while my early fiction was collected in a chapbook, "Bittersweet Creek," by Small Beer Press of Northampton, Massachusetts. I recently signed the contracts for my first novel, and am represented by Shana Cohen of the Stuart Krichevsky Literary Agency in New York.
