I just hope I did a great job of answering them all! :) We discussed my writing style, novels, faith and life in general. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the interview. Feel free to comment below.

description: Hello, lovely readers!

When I wrote THE WEDDING DRESS a few years ago, I fell in love with the connection between treasured heirlooms and the timeless beauty of discovering true love. So much that a new storyline began to form in my imagination.

Now I'm pleased to tell you I'll be unveiling the gorgeous new cover for that book, THE WEDDING CHAPEL, on Wednesday, April 29, over on my Goodreads blog.

And I've got a little something extra for you as well . . .

"I loved this book! It was such a fun read I laughed out loud multiple times -- as I was trying to stifle my reaction since I was on a plane. In fact, it was so good, I couldn't slow down and savor the read. Instead, I found myself flipping the pag..." Read more of this review »

I think I might just love this new book, Tried and True, the best. Although, I think I've said that after every Mary Connealy book I've read. It's so hard not to. With this being her 33rd novel (!) how could I really choose a favorite anyway? Her con ...more

Harold Bell Wright
“Here and there among men, there are those who pause in the hurried rush to listen to the call of a life that is more real… He who sees and hears too much is cursed for a dreamer, a fanatic, or a fool, by the mad mob who, having eyes, see not, ears and hear not, and refuse to understand… Only when we can no longer strive in the battle for earthly honors or material wealth, do we turn to the unseen but more enduring things of life; and.. we strive to hear and see the things we have so long refused to consider. Pete knew a world unseen by us, and we, therefore, fancied ourselves wiser than he. The wind in the pines, the rustle of the leaves, the murmur of the brook, the growl of thunder, and the voices of the night were all understood and answered by him. The flowers, the trees, the rocks, the hills, the clouds were to him, not lifeless things, but living friends, who laughed and wept with him as he was gay or sorrowful. ‘Poor Pete,’ we said. Was he in truth, poorer or richer than we?”
Harold Bell Wright, The Shepherd of the Hills

“…I never understood until the past months why the Master so often withdrew alone into the wilderness. There is not only food and medicine for one’s body; there is also healing for the heart and strength for the soul in nature. One gets very close to God…in these temples of God’s own building.”
Harold Bell Wright, The Shepherd of the Hills

William Shakespeare
“He that hath a beard is more than a youth, and he that hath no beard is less than a man. He that is more than a youth is not for me, and he that is less than a man, I am not for him.”

William Shakespeare
“A miracle. Here's our own hands against our hearts. Come, I will have thee, but by this light I take thee for pity.

Beatrice: I would not deny you, but by this good day, I yield upon great persuasion, and partly to save your life, for I was told you were in a consumption.

Benedick: Peace. I will stop your mouth.”
