Mark Budman was born and raised in the former Soviet Union in what now is the Republic of Moldova.

He has been living in Vestal, NY since 1980.

He is the author of "You Have Time For This" (Ooligan Press)and "My Life at First Try" (Counterpoint Press, forthcoming in December 2008).
